During EVO 2022, SNK producer Yasuyuki Oda announced a new Fatal Fury / GAROU title is in development.

The EVO 2022 key art reveal features Rock Howard as the returning protagonist of the GAROU: Mark of the Wolves sequel. Additionally, SNK shared new key art and a teaser trailer:
