During EVO 2022, SNK announced The King of Fighters XV DLC characters Team Samurai from Samurai Shodown, Shingo Yabuki and Kim Kaphwan.
Team Samurai features Haohmaru, Nakoruru, and Darli Dagger from the newest game in the Samurai Shodown series. The new DLC team releases in fall 2022.
Additionally, SNK provided a glimpse into Season 2 DLC of The King of Fighters XV with the reveal of returning characters Shingo Yabuki and Kim Kaphwan. Artwork of both characters was shown during the EVO 2022 reveal. A release window of 2023 was announced.

The King of Fighters XV is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Cross-play support releases via a free update in 2023.
