Persona 5 Domain ‘P5T’ Surfaces Online

Persona 5 lingers as fans await Persona 3 remake.

A potential new Persona 5 domain titled “P5T” has surfaced online. The new domain was created on May 16, 2023 with hidden information, but the domain’s postal address points toward Ryu’s Office, an official marketing partner for ATLUS.

Twitter user @MbKKssTBhz5 recently discovered the Persona 5 ‘P5T’ domain and shared it publicly. The P5T domain name is P5T.jp, which follows the same nomenclature as previous Persona 5 domains registered by ATLUS. Registrant information for the P5T.jp domain is hidden, but the postal address information points toward ATLUS and Ryu’s Office once more. According to Persona Central, ATLUS began hiding registrant information for newer domains in December 2021 to prevent discovery of domain names attached to Ryu’s Office. As a result, this P5T domain may be tied to ATLUS, but it’s not outright confirmed like pre-December 2021 domains. Additionally, the existence of this domain may not directly imply that a new Persona 5 game is on the way.

It’s worth noting that the same user, @MbKKssTBhz5, uncovered the P3RE.jp domain around the same time the SEGA leak involving Persona 3 Remake occurred. The Persona 3 Remake and P5T domains seemingly share similiar information.  Sources familiar with SEGA leak and Japanese gaming outlet Gematsu believe the Persona 3 Remake has been in development for several years.

Persona 5 fans may look forward to Persona 5: The Phantom X, or P5X for short. Persona 5: The Phantom X is a new turn-based RPG developed for Android, iOS, and PC in China by Black Wings Game Studio at Perfect World Games. P-Studio producer Kazuhisa Wada and ATLUS serve a supervisory role for the new mobile game. A release in Japan and markets outside of China have not been confirmed, however.
