Persona 3 Remake Gameplay Seemingly Leaked, Website Domain Registered

    The rumored remake appears online.

Gameplay footage of Persona 3 remake has seemingly leaked online, and the game’s existence is backed up by a newly registered domain by ATLUS. Alongside the new remake, a new Jet Set Radio game appears to be in development.

    Remake Footage and Official Domain

Footage from a SEGA internal meeting in 2021 was leaked to the public via user @AVtoGAMEnoYAMI, revealing gameplay footage of Persona 3 remake and a potential new Jet Set Radio game. The Persona 3 remake clip shows Yukari Takeba summoning her Persona, Io, and firing at an enemy with her bow. Yukari’s character model appears to be much more improved compared to her model in Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight

After the Persona 3 remake footage appeared online, user @MbKKssTBhz5 found an official domain for the game, P3RE.JP. P3RE.JP was first registered on March 15, 2023, and this new domain is registered with the same domain provider for the official Persona 5 Royal website (P5R.JP). The footage has not been directly verified by another other outlets, but Gematsu claims the remake has been in development for several years.

The leaked footage may be found below:

Information about the new Jet Set Radio game is scarce outside of an April 2022 report by Bloomberg, which states Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio reboots are in the works. Moreover, SEGAbits claims the footage lines up with artwork from a SEGA survey released last year, which the website received by an anonymous source. Further, the leaked footage from the meeting also shows alpha footage of Sonic Frontiers, which has been already verified.

As a reminder, nothing has been directly confirmed by SEGA, ATLUS, or any other outlets. Final Weapon believes Persona 3 remake and a new Jet Set Radio title are being prepared, however.
