Sony Music Entertainment’s Ray’n Studio brand has announced Fuyouku, a new “road-movie” adventure game by Even an Introverted Gyaru Wants to Act Tough! (Inkya Gal demo Ikigaritai!) manga artist Tsukiko Kashiwagi. Fuyouku will launch in 2027, with platforms to be announced at a later date.

At launch, Fuyouku will support English, French, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean language options. In addition, Hokkaido-based idol group Mitei no Title will perform the game’s theme song.

Here’s an overview of the game, via the game’s official website:

Set in a snow-covered future Hokkaido, the game tells the story of young girls searching for lost memories and forgotten promises.

Tagline:

“We’re journeying through memories we haven’t even discovered yet.”
The story takes place in the year 2097.
“Welcome to Hokkaido.”
Drift ice. Lavender fields. Hot springs. Fresh seafood. Ramen.
Once, travel guides describing this land were filled with words like these. Now, almost nothing remains beneath the endless snow.

In this frozen Hokkaido, a girl and an android continue their journey, tracing the memories buried beneath the snow. Combining a post-apocalyptic setting with a sense of travel and emotional storytelling, Fuyouku explores the evolving relationship between its young protagonists.

Kashiwagi’s Even an Introverted Gyaru Wants to Act Tough! is currently being serialized in Ichijinsha’s Comic Yuri Hime.
