Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo announced development of a new The Legend of Heroes: Gagharv Trilogy mobile game by South Korean developer FOW Games.
According to Falcom, the mobile game depicts a brand-new story set within The Legend of Heroes: Gagharv Trilogy. Additionally, a global release of the game is being planned, so Falcom fans in the west may once again dive into the Gagharv titles last seen on the PlayStation Portable.
The Gagharv trilogy comprises of The Legend of Heroes III: The White Witch, The Legend of Heroes IV: A Tear of Vermillion, and The Legend of Heroes V: Cagesong of the Ocean. All three games are connected, but it’s an entirely different series from the ongoing Trails series. Further details about the new mobile game were not revealed.
2023 continues to build up as a monumental year for Falcom. Falcom’s first major western release of the year is The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. The second half of the Crossbell arc arrives on March 14 in North America and March 17 in Europe.
Following the Great Twilight crisis, heroes of Zemuria battle against another threat in The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie. The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie launches July 7 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam in the west.
Falcom fans may also look forward to more adventures with Adol Christin in Ys X: Nordics and Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana later this year. Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana releases first on April 27 for Nintendo Switch in Japan.
Lastly, The Legend of Heroes: Gagharv Trilogy (mobile) is currently in development at FOW Games.
