In a new developer message, Capcom announced that a free update for Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection will add “Royal Monsters” in summer 2026. Further, the Additional Side Story: Rudy DLC may release earlier than expected.
In a video, producer Ryozo Tsujimoto states that the upcoming free update will add more powerful versions of monsters, titled Royal Monsters. He explains that “riders of level 90 or above will need to prepare carefully and use their strongest Monsties and strategies to defeat to them.” He also reveals that due to development on the Additional Side Story: Rudy DLC progressing faster than expected, Capcom may release it earlier than expected.

Cygames has released a new trailer for Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok, which focuses on Eustace, a new playable character. Kaiji Tang voices Eustace in English, while Kazuya Nakai voices him in Japanese.

Players returning from GRANBLUE FANTASY: Relink may carry over their save data and continue in GRANBLUE FANTASY: Relink – Endless Ragnarok by purchasing the Digital Upgrade Kit. The game features the original Relink story and new story, along with new Chaos-tier Quests and end-game challenges that provide valuable rewards for character growth. The Nintendo Switch 2 version features local wireless play for up to four systems. Lastly, a closed beta test was held from March 13 at 7:00 a.m. to March 17 at 6:59 a.m. (UTC). The closed beta tested the game’s cross-play functionality across all platforms.

The original anime’s theme song “Ushiroyubi Sasaregumi” was covered by Shiraishi and Hasegawa with a modern rearrangement by Night Tempo.
Kazuaki Seki directs the anime at Animation Studio Seven, with Takashi Nishikawa as the animation director. Shigeru Murakoshi oversees the series scripts, and Yuka Abe is the character designer. Night Tempo is producing the project’s songs, and Slow Curve is planning and producing the project.

Koei Tecmo and Gust has announced BLUE REFLECTION Quartet, a new collection featuring BLUE REFLECTION and BLUE REFLECTION: Second Light, the BLUE REFLECTION RAY anime series; and the BLUE REFLECTION SUN mobile game. BLUE REFLECTION Quartet launches digitally on July 30 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
Alongside the games, the collection also includes a reference database for the BLUE REFLECTION universe, allowing fans to examine “flowcharts with certain events organized in chronological order, characters’ relationship charts, and series correlation charts.” Various quality of life features and gameplay adjustments were also made.

BLUE REFLECTION: Originally released in 2017, the game combines magical form elements with contemporary academies as an injured student faces an imminent threat to her world. Features character design and supervision by illustrator Mel Kishida and storyline by authors Keiichi Sigsawa, Yusaku Igarashi, and Koji Natsumi.
BLUE REFLECTION RAY: Released as an animated series in 2021, the anime’s story has been re-edited and 3D models of the main characters have been created. Tour a world shaped by the collective unconscious known as the Common with Hiori and Ruka and further understand the students’ emotions.
BLUE REFLECTION SUN: A mixed-media project based on BLUE REFLECTION, this smartphone/PC game was available from February 2023 to May 2024. The game’s story has been adapted to consoles as players can now interact with the students walking around the school. Furthermore, the game’s memorable fights have been brought to life using the battle system from BLUE REFLECTION: Second Light.
BLUE REFLECTION: Second Light: Originally released in 2021, the students must face their own feelings while trying to recover their memories and the truth of their world as Ao finds herself lost in an academy surrounded by water. Added to Quartet, eight additional characters from RAY and SUN will be featured as party members.
In a new post, actor Glen Powell announced that he will portray Fox McCloud in the upcoming The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. The film will premiere in theaters on April 1.
Glen Powell has previously acted in projects such as Chad Powers, Hit Man, The Running Man, Twisters, and Anyone But You. Most notably, he played one of the major characters in Top Gun: Maverick. Illumination confirmed the inclusion of Fox in the upcoming film with a recent poster.
He joins the rest of the movie’s cast, which includes mainstays such as Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Rosalina, Toad, Yoshi, and Bowser Jr. Additionally, the film will feature R.O.B. and the Pikmin. The inclusion of both has lead people to speculate that a Super Smash Bros. film is on the horizon. Only time will tell if other Nintendo characters, such as Kirby or Captain Falcon, will also make an appearance.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will release in theaters on April 1. Tickets for the film are now live. The most recent trailer revealed that Luis Guzmán (Wednesday, Punch Drunk Love) will voice Wart and Issa Rae (Barbie, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse) voices the Honey Queen. Most notably, Donald Glover (Solo: A Star Wars Story, Atlanta, Community) voices Yoshi.
Brie Larson, the Academy Award winning actress from Room and Captain Marvel, will voice Rosalina. Benny Safdie, director of The Smashing Machine and Uncut Gems, who has also acted in Oppenheimer and Obi-Wan Kenobi, will voice Bowser Jr, who dons his Super Mario Bros. Wonder design. The film will feature elements from both Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Odyssey, and will reference other projects from the Mario franchise.
PlayStation has announced that it will raise the prices of all of its major products, including the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, PlayStation 5 Digital Edition, and the PlayStation Portal. These changes will go into effect on April 2.
In a statement, PlayStation elaborates on the reason for the changes: “With continued pressures in the global economic landscape, we’ve made the decision to increase the prices of PS5, PS5 Pro, and PlayStation Portal remote player globally. Currently, the PlayStation Store Spring Sale is live alongside what appears to be a more noticeable rollout of a dynamic pricing model for games in North America. With dynamic pricing active, players will see different deals and prices for the same PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games in the PlayStation Store, and we have two examples of this actually happening right now.
Firstly, Insider Gaming reported first-hand examples of Stellar Blade being 70% off during the PlayStation Store Spring sale for one of its reporters, while another reporter for the outlet saw a 43% discount instead. This is a notable price difference between the two games, with one copy costing $20.99 and the other costing $39.89—nearly double.
The second example comes from @videogamedeals on X (formerly Twitter). ASTRO BOT was previously $26.99—55% off. The user noticed the deal change to 34%, which say the game’s on-sale price increase to $39.59.
To celebrate the 1st anniversary of The First Berserker: Khazan, Nexon and Neople released community-driven statistics that players have reached and accumulated since launch in March 2025. The First Berserker: Khazan launched on March 27, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam worldwide. Final Weapon reviewed The First Berserker: Khazan and gave it a 4 out of 5 score, stating that its an impressive Soulslike game with excellent combat and boss fights. Since launch, The First Berserker: Khazan received multiple awards, including three honors at the 2025 Korea Game Awards: the Top Excellence Award, Technical Creativity (Graphics), and Popular Voice Actor (Lee Hyun).
The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Kazuma Kamachi’s Toaru Anbu no ITEM (A Certain ITEM of the Dark Side), the spinoff novel series for A Certain Magical Index, confirmed the anime will premiere in fall 2026. A new promotional video was also released.
A Toaru Anbu no ITEM stage event will be held at AnimeJapan 2026 on March 28.
A Certain Scientific Railgun anime director Tatsuyuki Nagai is directing the new anime at J.C. Staff. Chief animation director Shigeki Kimoto also returns to design Toaru Anbu no ITEM’s characters. Maiko Iuchi is the music composer.
The Toaru Anbu no ITEM novel series received a manga adaptation in fall 2023, and Kadokawa shipped the first compiled book volume on June 26, 2024.

Funimation released the anime series in North America with the exception of the OVA. All three seasons of the A Certain Scientific Railgun anime are streaming now on Crunchyroll with English and Japanese voice-overs.
Koei Tecmo and Team NINJA have announced that free DLC for horror adventure game FATAL FRAME II: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE is now available with costumes based on Konami’s Silent Hill f. Specifically, the FATAL FRAME II: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE DLC adds the Navy Sailor School Uniform worn by Silent Hill f protagonist Shimizu Hinako for Mio and the Fox Mask accessory for Mio and Mayu.
FATAL FRAME II: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE launched on March 12 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The game is a full remake of the second installment in the FATAL FRAME (PROJECT ZERO) series, following the story of twin sisters Mio and Mayu. The two sisters reach an abandoned village infested with wraiths, and the only way to survive is through the use of Camera Obscura.
Silent Hill f is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, Windows, and GOG. Since launch, the game has already received an official novelization by author Shiro Kuro in Japan, and a new manga is in the works. The staff of Silent Hill f includes producer Motoi Okamoto, scriptwriter Ryukishi07, composers Akira Yamaoka and Kensuke Inage, and character and creature designer kera. Suzie Yeung stars as Hinako in the English dub.
Final Weapon previously reviewed Silent Hill f and gave it a 4.5 out of 5 score, noting that the game’s story is “told wonderfully and manages to convey its themes with the right amount of care, thanks to some great writing and the arc of its protagonist, Shimizu Hinako. Further, the combat-focused gameplay turned out to be surprisingly addictive, while still managing to be tense thanks to some great monster designs.”
Capcom has announced that a new update for Resident Evil Requiem is available now with a new Photo Mode. The Photo Mode is accessible from the pause menu in Resident Evil Requiem, and the update also applies some bug fixes.

A Premium Steelbook Edition ($89.99) was also revealed featuring the full game, Deluxe Edition contents, and a limited-edition lenticular card.
A special edition Resident Evil Requiem Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller ($99.99) with designs from the game and a gunmetal-black finish was also made available in the My Nintendo Store. Grace and Leon Resident Evil Requiem amiibo will launch in summer 2026 as well.
