KonoSuba Season 3 April Premiere Date & Theme Songs Revealed

Kadokawa released a new promotional video for KonoSuba Season 3, confirming that the anime will premiere on April 10. The anime’s opening and ending theme songs were also revealed.

Natsume Akatsuki initially wrote the light novel series KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! in 2012. KonoSuba received several adaptations, including manga releases, two anime seasons, and video games

KonoSuba Season 3 Storms Onto Crunchyroll

The latest PV for KonoSuba Season 3 confirms that Machico is performing the opening theme song “Growing Up.” Cast members Sora Amamiya, Rie Takahashi, and Ai Kayano form a trio to perform the ending theme song “Ano Hi no Mama no Bokura” (Us, Just Like on That Day). Crunchyroll will stream KonoSuba Season 3 on April 10 outside of Japan, while new episodes stream on Tokyo MX, BS11, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and TV Aichi in Japan.

Takaomi Kanasaki will direct the third season at studio Drive alongside Yujiro Abe, who was formerly the episode director for Great Pretender. Makoto Uezu and Koichi Kikuta return as scriptwriter and character designer respectively. Moreover, Masato Kōda returns as the anime series composer. The new cast members of KonoSuba include: 

  • Kanon Takao as Iris
  • Sayuri Yahagi as Claire
  • Reina Ueda as Rain

After a traffic accident, Kazuma Sato’s disappointingly brief life was supposed to be over, but he wakes up to see a beautiful girl before him. She claims to be a goddess, Aqua, and asks if he would like to go to another world and bring only one thing with him. Kazuma decides to bring the goddess herself, and they are transported to a fantasy world filled with adventure, ruled by a demon king. Now Kazuma only wants to live in peace, but Aqua wants to solve many of this world’s problems, and the demon king will only turn a blind eye for so long…
