During the anime’s 10th anniversary event, Kadokawa announced that KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World Season 4 will premiere in 2027. A new ultra teaser visual for KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World Season 4 was revealed alongside a new 10th anniversary video and the anime’s returning cast and staff members. The video features a new arrangement of “fantastic dreamer” by Machico from the anime’s first season.
Takaomi Kanasaki is returning as the chief director, and Manabu Kurihara is the new director at studio ENGI. Makoto Uezu returns to oversee the series scripts, and Koichi Kikuta returns to design the characters. Yoshikazu Iwanami is returning as the sound director, and Masato Kōda returns as the music composer. The cast of the third season also returns.
Kadokawa also announced that pre-registration is now open for KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! Prosperity for this Beloved City!, the new mobile game based on the KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World anime. A new teaser trailer was released, and it was re-confirmed that KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! Prosperity for this Beloved City! will launch in 2026 for Android, iOS, and PC in Japan.
KonoSuba Season 3 premiered in April 2024 and ran for 11 episodes, and a “Bonus Stage” OVA was also released. Takaomi Kanasaki directed the anime at studio Drive alongside Yujiro Abe. Makoto Uezu and Koichi Kikuta are the scriptwriter and character designer, respectively. Moreover, Masato Kōda is the anime’s composer. The anime series is currently streaming on Crunchyroll with English subtitles and an English dub.
