Kadokawa has announced KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! Prosperity for this Beloved City!, a new mobile game based on the KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World anime. KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! Prosperity for this Beloved City! will launch in 2026 for Android, iOS, and PC in Japan.
Manga creator Natsume Akatsuki commented on the new game reveal, “Congratulations and thank you for the new KonoSuba game! I’d like to aim to be an independent solo player like Yunyun, so I hope the event design won’t exclude those who play alone. I’m really looking forward to starting the game!”
Illustrator Kurone Mishima also commented, “Congratulations on the new KonoSuba game! I’m truly happy to be able to meet Kazuma and the others again in this form. I hope many people will enjoy playing it! I’ll be playing as well once the game is released!”
What’s more, Kadokawa confirmed that KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World Season 4 is officially in the works. There will be multiple activations to celebrate the anime’s 10th anniversary as well, including a new event on July 26 at the PACIFICO YOKOHAMA National Convention Hall. Jun Fukushima (voice of Kazuma Satō), Sora Amamiya (voice of Aqua), Rie Takahashi (voice of Megumin), Ai Kayano (voice of Darkness), and theme song singer Machico will all appear at the event.
KonoSuba Season 3 premiered in April 2024 and ran for 11 episodes, and a “Bonus Stage” OVA was also released. Takaomi Kanasaki directed the anime at studio Drive alongside Yujiro Abe. Makoto Uezu and Koichi Kikuta are the scriptwriter and character designer, respectively. Moreover, Masato Kōda is the anime’s composer. The anime series is currently streaming on Crunchyroll with English subtitles and an English dub.
