Shueisha Games and Haka Bunko announced Urban Myth Dissolution Center surpassed 100,000 copies sold in just 10 days. The sales update includes physical copies of Urban Myth Dissolution Center sold in Japan, along with digital sales worldwide.
The game released on February 12 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. The Urban Myth Dissolution Center Case File: Kune Kune manga by Hideki Takahashi and Hakaba Bunko was released alongside the game, and fans around the world may now read it on Manga Plus in English.
The manga follows the team as they take on “a mysterious case involving a comatose construction site surveyor, his cousin’s shock-induced isolation, and a desperate wife seeking answers.” The Dissolution Center discovers that there’s even more to the incident, such as a cursed mountain and a connection to the Japanese urban legend, Kune Kune.
Additionally, Hankababunko’s Urban Myth Dissolution Center Original Soundtrack is now available. The soundtrack includes 32 tracks composed by the sound director Ada-P (あだ-P) and a unique J-rap main theme, written by MURASAKI and performed by Kanna Katata.
