Fairy Tail Manga is Getting a Short-Term Serialization in Shonen Jump

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Fairy Tail manga series, creator Hiro Mashima will launch a short-term serialization for the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump. The Fairy Tail manga will resume in serialization in the 36/37 combined Shonen Jump issue on August 5, according the franchise’s 20th anniversary website and translations provided by Final Weapon lead translator and staff writer Ryuji

In addition, a new Fairy Tail 20th anniversary special promotional video was released. The video features the song “Snow Fairy” by FUNKIST. Further, Mashima confirmed that he will be conducting an autograph tour for fans in Hokkaido, Tokyo, Aichi, Osaka, and Fukuoka. More details will be announced at a later date. 

The latest anime in the series is Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest, which aired from July 2024 to January 2025 across two cours. All 25 episodes of the anime, along with the entire original Fairy Tail anime series, are streaming on Crunchyroll. The Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest manga is still ongoing, and Kodansha is publishing the series in English.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin Reaches #1 in PlayStation Store Free-to-Play Charts

Netmarble has announced that open-world action RPG The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin reached the #1 spot in the PlayStation Store free-to-play charts in March 2026. The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin secured the #1 spot in the PlayStation Store in several major regions, including the U.S., Canada, EU, and Asia. 

In addition, a new update for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is now available featuring brand-new original hero Daisy. Daisy is a mysterious figure involved in the creation of the “Book of Stars.” What’s more, the update also includes new gameplay improvements, including difficulty adjustments to Path of Exploration, the addition of Abyss difficulty to Boss Challenges and Dungeons, and refinements to certain Hell boss patterns. The update also gives players a Regular SSR Hero Selection Ticket, which lets them select one hero from a pool featuring Elaine, King, Guila, Jericho, Mannie, Drake, or Diane.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin previously reached the #6 spot on the Steam top sellers list worldwide. The game also reached #1 in France, #2 in Belgium, Italy and Spain, and top 5 rankings in Brazil, Japan, Korea, the United Kingdom and Thailand.In the U.S., The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin reached the #11 spot on the Steam top sellers list.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is available now for Android, iOS, PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Google Play Games. Forza Horizon 6 Reveals New Prologue Gameplay Footage

Xbox Game Studios and Playground Games have released six minutes of new gameplay footage for upcoming open-world racing game Forza Horizon 6, highlighting the game’s “prologue.” In the prologue, Forza Horizon 6 players will get a proper introduction to the Horizon Festival in Japan in various vehicles, including the 2024 Nissan GT-R Nismo, 2021 RJ Anderson #37 Polaris RZR Pro 4 Truck, 1995 Porsche 911 GT2, and 2025 GR GT Prototype. 

Forza Horizon 6 will launch on May 19 for Xbox Series X|S and PC via Windows and Steam, and pre-orders are available now. A PlayStation 5 version is set to release at a later date, and Forza Horizon 6 will be available with Xbox Game Pass as well. With cross-play and cross-saves, Forza Horizon 6 players will be able to play together on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S while continuing their progress on whichever versions of the game they own.

Pre-orders for Forza Horizon 6 (MSRP: $69.99) are available now with a pre-tuned Ferrari J50 as a bonus. Deluxe and Premium Editions will be available for $99.99 and $119.99, respectively. Premium Edition contents include four days of early access, beginning May 15, among several other bonuses and access to two upcoming DLC expansions. 

At launch, there will be more than 550 real cars, including the new Toyota GR GT, and there will be several new features, including touge battles and multiplayer CoLab. As previously announced, the game is set in Japan, with Tokyo as its main destination. Tokyo is the largest urban area ever featured in the Forza Horizon series.

2XKO Reveals 2026 Update Roadmap

Riot Games has revealed the update roadmap for 2XKO in 2026, which includes four more characters, new updates, and more. Today, the game added Akali alongside patch 1.1.5

According to the roadmap, the next character added to 2XKO will be the previously announced Senna. Three more champions will be available throughout the year. Future updates will add local duos, spirit blossom skins, a spirit blossom event, a new fuse, season 2 + a rank reset, a duo finder, a Blood Moon stage, a new summer event, new skins, and a new stage. Nintendo has announced F-ZERO 99 update 1.7.1 is now available with various bug fixes for issues pertaining to World Tour, Elite leaderboard resets, and bonuses for reaching the S50 Elite rank. Players must install the update in order to play online with other players.

F-ZERO 99 update 1.7.0, the game’s previous update, was released this past December with the Frozen Tour Event, a new Elite leaderboard, Lucky Tokens, three new secret tracks, a music player, and many more features.

Hello Games has released a new update for No Man’s Sky, titled the “Xeno Arena” update. It is is available on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and PC.

Creature Battles

Adopt the wild fauna roaming planetary landscapes, and assemble them into battle teams to fight in simulated combat. Hundreds of Battle Abilities

The species and native climate of a creature will shape its catalogue of battle abilities. Deal devastating attacks, heal away injuries, cripple your opponents or morph them into vulnerable forms, augment your combat effectiveness and more!

Morphogenetics

Earn experience through battle to unlock genetic mutations for your creatures. Veteran battlers have the opportunity to enhance their likelihood of moving first and dodging incoming attacks, to increase their durability in battle, and to upgrade the overall effectiveness of all their combat abilities.
