Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment have announced that The Irregular at Magic High School THE MOVIE – Yotsuba Succession Arc, the latest anime film adaptation of Tsutomu Satou’s The Irregular at Magic High School light novel series, is coming to theaters in the United States and Canada. The Irregular at Magic High School THE MOVIE – Yotsuba Succession Arc will play in theaters for just three days only on November 1, 3, and 4 in Japanese with English subtitles and an English dub.
The Irregular at Magic High School THE MOVIE – Yotsuba Succession Arc opened on May 8 in theaters across Japan.

Satou’s light novel series debuted in 2008 and concluded with the 32nd volume in September 2020. Yen Press publishes the original light novel series and Yu Mori’s The Honor Student at Magic High School spinoff manga.
The Irregular at Magic High School anime first aired in April 2014 and consisted of 26 episodes. A second season, titled The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc, premiered in October 2020 and ran for 13 episodes. The anime’s third season premiered in April 2024.
Additionally, the anime franchise also includes The Irregular at Magic High School: The Movie- The Girl Who Summons the Stars, which aired in 2017. The Honor Student at Magic High School manga inspired an anime adaptation, which aired in 2021.
All three seasons and The Irregular at Magic High School: Reminiscence Arc are streaming now on Crunchyroll. “Part II” of the anime is currently in the works.
