Get ready for a dungeon-crawling adventure with some real bite! Go solo or join forces with up to three friends, either locally or online, and save the world from being swallowed whole in SNACK WORLD: THE DUNGEON CRAWL – GOLD for Nintendo Switch!

Found unconscious at the gates of Tutti-Frutti with no memory of who you are, things aren’t great for you right now. Still, it could be worse – an evil sultan could be resurrecting a mighty deodragon to eat the entire kingdom! Oh, wait a minute…

Under orders from King Papaya and his daughter, the demanding Princess Melonia, it’s up to you and the other heroes of Tutti-Frutti to save the day. Only oodles of dangerous dungeons and mountains of menacing monsters stand in your way. How hard could it be?!

Forget fame, glory or the honour of Snack World – when it comes to dungeon crawling, the most important thing is the loot! Explore randomly-generated dungeons in search of the rarest treasures and new equipment, besting brutal bosses along the way in your pursuit of greater goodies.

Just remember: the more you achieve during a quest, the more chests you’ll get packed with loot. Whether it’s awesome or not, though, we couldn’t possibly tell you. The only way to collect ever-better booty is to open as many treasure chests as you can!

Phantom Blade Zero Enters Final Stages of Development, No AI in Use

Phantom Blade Zero

S-GAME has announced that its upcoming action RPG Phantom Blade Zero has entered the final stages of development. In a statement released by S-GAME, CEO and Phantom Blade Zero creator Soulframe confirmed that the game’s development did not involve the use of AI.

You can read the full statement below:

Phantom Blade Zero is currently in the intense, final stages of development. With the time we have left, we are pouring every available resource into pushing every aspect of the game to the absolute limit of our capabilities.

We are fully aware that a profound technological revolution is unfolding around us. However, to this day, every single piece of content in our game has been crafted by the hands of real artists. We will not use AI visual tech that could alter our artists’ original creative intent.

Our character models are built upon 3D scans of our phenomenal cast, who also provided the facial capture performances. The voice acting in both Chinese and English has been meticulously refined by our dedicated actors and directors, complete with full lip-syncing for both languages.

The prototypes for our weapons are drawn from the vast arsenal of traditional Chinese weaponry. Sometimes, to better understand how a weapon’s weight and length impact movement, we have master swordsmiths forge real replicas.

Our combat is motion-captured by over twenty highly experienced martial artists. To capture the most authentic kung fu techniques, we consult directly with the masters and inheritors of traditional martial arts schools. When we needed authentic swordplay, we invited sword masters from Mount Emei; when we needed lion dance choreography, we brought in lion dance masters from Guangdong.

Of course, we also visited many stunning locations across China, from ancestral halls in Fujian to ancient towns in Zhejiang, and even old steel factories in Beijing. We scanned these places and reimagined them in unexpected combinations to build something truly original: the visual identity we created and defined as Kungfupunk.

The game also features a series of guiding maps. These are not AI-generated, nor are they digital paintings at all. They were hand-drawn using Chinese brushes and Xuan paper (rice paper) by young artists from the Chinese Painting department at the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA).

We firmly believe that human artistry is not merely a means for creating value; it is the value itself.

S-GAME didn’t just hire a group of developers to make a game; rather, in our pursuit of continuously building an exceptional, passionate team, we decided to make a game that everyone here could be deeply proud of.

We can’t wait for you all to experience that difference in Phantom Blade Zero in just a few months. Thank you!

Soulframe
S-GAME CEO / Creator of Phantom Blade Zero

Phantom Blade Zero will release on September 9, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Originally announced at the May 2023 PlayStation Showcase, Phantom Blade Zero quickly caught the attention of players with its compelling combat and visuals. Pre-registration is currently available now at the official website while fans wait for the full release.

The Weeknd to Appear at 2026 Crunchyroll Anime Awards

The Weeknd 2026 press image by Hyghly Alleyne

Crunchyroll has announced that GRAMMY-winning artist The Weeknd will present the Anime of the Year award at the 2026 Crunchyroll Anime Awards, the tenth iteration of the annual anime celebration and awards show.

The Weeknd also shared a statement regarding his participating at the 2026 Crunchyroll Anime Awards:

“When I was first introduced to anime, I was a child. Sailor Moon was one of my first crushes, Goku my first imaginary sparring partner, and “One More Time” by Daft Punk was a song and music video I couldn’t get out of my head.

But it wasn’t until my teenage years that one specific anime changed me forever and became part of the fabric of my early career: Samurai Champloo by Shinichiro Watanabe. It was the first time I experienced two of my favorite mediums—anime and hip hop—blending so seamlessly that it completely reshaped the way I watched film and listened to music.

The fusion of a samurai story told with auteur precision, paired with the sounds of Nujabes, Fat Jon, and Force of Nature was nothing short of transformative.

That influence stayed with me all the way through the creation of House of Balloons, where I wrote “The Morning,” “Glass Table Girls,” and “Loft Music” over Nujabes’ instrumentals. Without Watanabe and Nujabes, House of Balloons simply wouldn’t exist.

Samurai Champloo opened my eyes to a more mature world of anime and helped shape my visual DNA. The works of Satoshi Kon, Mamoru Oshii, and Katsuhiro Otomo became foundational to the look and feel of The Weeknd.

So it’s safe to say I wouldn’t be here without anime. It’s an honor to celebrate the artists behind it and a medium that continues to inspire the world.”

The 2026 Crunchyroll Anime Awards will be held at the Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa in Tokyo on Saturday, May 23, with Sony Music Solutions Inc. and Dempsey Productions supporting Crunchyroll in the execution of the event. A pre-show will be held on May 23 at 5:00 p.m. JST, followed by the live ceremony at 6:00 p.m. JST. Fans can vote every day through April 15 on the Anime Awards Official WebsiteCrunchyroll, and MyAnimeList.

Livestream Mystery Adventure Game Red Chat Ritual: TSUMIMI TIME Revealed for PC

Red Chat Ritual: TSUMIMI TIME

Tohakusha has revealed Red Chat Ritual: TSUMIMI TIME, a new mystery horror adventure game where players intervene in a idol’s livestream and investigate clues to find out the truth about her missing partner. Red Chat Ritual: TSUMIMI TIME is coming soon to PC via Steam, and a release date has not been announced yet.

Lastly, here’s an overview of the game, via Steam:

A mystery adventure where you intervene in an idol’s livestream, investigate clues on and off stream, and uncover the truth behind her missing partner. Your deductions shape the ending.

Intervene in livestreams as a viewer

Investigate clues beyond the screen

Shape the outcome through deduction

Discover multiple endings and branching paths

Step Into the Stream and Uncover the Truth

Tsumimi Time is a game where you step in as a viewer and intervene in the livestreams of Tsumimi, a struggling idol streamer.

Tsumimi is striving to become a popular streamer so that Mashiro, her partner who suddenly disappeared, might find her.

The story unfolds over a roughly two-week day-and-night cycle.

In the mornings and afternoons, you follow clues by searching social media, fan sites, and maps based on the subtle irregularities you spot in the stream.

At night, you intervene in Tsumimi’s livestreams through Mega Chats (paid donation messages) and comments. Sometimes, a gift sent in the dead of night will return as an unexpected reaction in the next day’s stream.

As your investigation connects the scattered fragments, the dark history of the abandoned village where the streams take place—and the incidents that once occurred there—gradually come to light.

Your interventions, investigation, deductions, and final choice will change her fate.

Featuring brand-new original music written for the game by Kikuo, this is a psychological horror adventure built around livestream intervention, investigation, and deduction.

Where Is Mashiro, Your Missing Favorite Idol?

Tsumimi, of the idol unit Wataame Chainsaw, continues streaming in hopes of becoming famous enough for the missing Mashiro to find her.

As a viewer, you intervene in her streams—sometimes altering the course of events, sometimes picking up new information, always connecting the scattered fragments.

Your only leads are a village erased from the map and the faint irregularities caught on stream.

What awaits beyond them…?

Follow the Irregularities and Connect the Clues

Using the strange details caught in the stream as leads, you search social media, fan sites, and maps for information.

Each time you uncover and connect an overlooked fragment, the hidden truth becomes a little clearer.

At Night, Step Into the Stream

Intervene in Tsumimi’s livestreams through Mega Chats and comments.

How far will you push her? What will you prioritize?

A single word from you can change her reactions, the information that becomes visible, and what happens next.

Your choices shape the mood of the stream—and what begins to reveal itself.

Sometimes, the gifts you send will trigger an unexpected response in the next day’s stream.

Connect the Fragments and Deduce the Truth

The information you gather is stored in your investigation file.

By organizing the fragments and confirming your hypotheses, you can change what happens next—and the ending itself.

Which clues you pick up, how you connect them, and what answer you arrive at—how close you get to the truth depends on your deductions.

Your Choices Change the Ending

Multiple Endings

The story branches into multiple endings based on your interventions, investigation, and deductions.

The actions you take and the answers you reach determine how the story ends.

Play Time

Around 3 hours per playthrough.

Total playtime, including multiple endings, is approximately 4 to 5 hours.

Content Warning

This game contains excessive intervention in livestreams, unsettling scenes, psychological tension, and horror imagery.

Close in on the truth through your own choices.
