WWWave Corporation has announced the anime adaptation of Norito Asaduki’s Ren Arisugawa Is Actually a Girl (Arisugawa Ren tte Honto wa Onna Nanda yo ne.) adult manga will premiere on December 12 on the AnimeFesta streaming service. Ren Arisugawa Is Actually a Girl will make its TV debut on Tokyo MX and BS11 channels on January 4, 2026, and OceanVeil will be streaming the anime uncensored with English subtitles starting December 12.
Sammy performs the theme song “Boku to no Himegoto (Our Secret).”
The anime’s cast includes:
- Yūki Nishiyama as Kyohei Arisugawa
- Amai Miruku as Ren Arisugawa
- Kanna Natsuki as Satsuki Yoshioka
- Noel Kanzaki as Momoka Hiiragi
- Hotaru Hanakage as Haruna Miyashita
- Konbu Ariake as Hina Sugisaki
Sumito Sasaki directs the anime series at Studio Leo, and Iruka Taichō is overseeing the series scripts. Reina Nasu is the character designer, Chan Do Kim Fan is in charge of art setting and art direction, and Saito is the color key artist. Shoichiro Arima is the compositing director of photography, while Kōki Shinkai is the editor. Akinori Shina is the sound director, and Crocodile is producing the sound.
WWWave Corporation has been publishing the series for 57 chapters, and Coolmic publishes the manga in English.
