    Heihachi Mishima Returns to Tekken 8 in Autumn 2024

    Tekken 8 revealed a trailer for Heihachi Mishima, who will be coming in autumn 2024. Once believed to have died at the hands of Kazuya Mishima, Heihachi will be striking the roster soon. 

    Players can expect a new chapter of The Dark Awakens storyline in Tekken 8, via a free update. According to a new IGN interview with Katsuhiro Harada and Kohei Ikeda, the new chapter will continue the clash between the Kazama and Mishima families. More details about Heihachi Mishima and the new Tekken 8 update are coming soon.

    Moreover, the release date for Lidia Sobieska is on July 25. However, she will be available for early access on July 22 for players who have the Year-1 character pass. Additionally, update 1.06 of Tekken 8 will arrive on July 23 with minor fixes. Lidia is the second DLC character for Tekken 8.

    At EVO 2024, Tekken 8 announced a collaboration with NIKE. The NIKE Air Foamposite One “Kazuya” + “Jin” is coming soon to Tekken 8. More information will be revealed at a later date.

    Bandai Namco revealed a teaser trailer for Lidia and a roadmap for Tekken 8‘s future updates. In this roadmap, the developers discussed what will come with Lidia’s update, such as a new stage and photo mode. The new stage, “Seaside Resort,” is Lidia’s stage from Tekken 7. The developers did not explain how Tekken 8’s photo mode will work, but more information will come in the future. To clarify, the stage and photo mode will be released as a free update.
