Square Enix is reportedly planning for the Kingdom Hearts series to collaborate with Fortnite and other intellectual properties, according to reputable insider Midori (@MbKKssTBhz5). The insider also shared details on the next entry in the series, Kingdom Hearts IV.
The Kingdom Hearts series is finally coming to Steam on June 13, bringing the entire mainline series to the platform for the first time. Following the announcement, rumors began to run rampant regarding Kingdom Hearts IV, with Midori claiming that the Kingdom Hearts series and KH IV “might” come to Nintendo Switch 2. She also claimed that Square Enix is planning collaborations between Kingdom Hearts and other IPs.
Kingdom Hearts x Fortnite and More?
According to Midori, outside IP collaboration for the Kingdom Hearts series is being planned. She clarifies that the collaborations will take place outside of the series itself, with Kingdom Hearts being involved with other IPs outside of Square Enix.

One of the IPs that’s part of the new Kingdom Hearts collaboration initiative is Fortnite. However, Midori does not have any more details on the collaboration or its supposed start date.

As previously discussed, Kingdom Hearts IV will reportedly have online features. The game’s current codename is Quattro, and it will look “very different” compared to what was shown in the first trailer, according to Midori.
Midori is widely known for her reporting on SEGA and ATLUS titles, with her previously confirming that the Jet Set Radio title showcased at The Game Awards 2023 would land on next-generation Nintendo hardware. She backed this up once again today, stating, “Every ATLUS and SEGA remake is also releasing on Switch 2.”
Specifically with Persona, Midori revealed Persona 3 Reload The Answer DLC before datamines occurred. Additionally, Midori has claimed Persona 2 and Persona 4 remakes are in the works at ATLUS. All of the Persona 3 Reload rumors turned out to be true, including the Expansion Pass and Episode Aigis -The Answer-. Moreover, Midori claims that Persona 6 will come to Xbox platforms and Nintendo Switch 2 at launch, and that the game will feature a green motif.
