The upcoming Jet Set Radio reboot and several new SEGA remakes are coming to the next Nintendo console, according to reputable SEGA and ATLUS insider Midori (@MbKKssTBhz5). This new console is implied to be the Nintendo Switch 2, which appears to be garnering third-party support from many publishers.
Just recently, Midori discussed that Persona 2 and Persona 4 remakes are in the works at ATLUS. This came after she corroborated Persona 3 Reload datamines that seemingly confirm The Answer will be DLC, just a few days after she broke news that ATLUS is planning to release several DLC packs. She also suggested that Persona 3 Reload and Metaphor ReFantazio are planned for the next Nintendo console, alongside various SEGA remakes.
Jet Set Radio and SEGA Remakes Potentially Coming to Nintendo Switch 2
When sharing her recent findings, Midori claimed that all of the SEGA remakes and reboots shown at The Game Awards 2023 will be coming to the next Nintendo console. These SEGA revival projects include Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, Shinobi, Golden Axe, and Streets of Rage: Revolution. She also notes that the Jet Set Radio game shown at the event is a reboot and not a remake, and it’s release is planned for 2027. A remake of Jet Set Radio is also planned. Similarly to the Jet Set Radio reboot, Crazy Taxi is another reboot with a release targeting 2027. The new Crazy Taxi game will feature online elements.
The titles at TGA event are coming to next Nintendo hardware.

Several trademarks were filed just one week after The Game Awards 2023, giving fans hope for even more revivals, including Alex Kidd and After Burner. Moreover, a recent report suggests new Panzer Dragoon, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Sakura Wars games are currently in early stages of development. Two other games have been greenlit as well, but these titles were not specified.
It’s clear that SEGA is going full force ahead with its back catalog of IPs, so there’s bound to be several major releases in the years to come.
