It seems that Atlus is internally working on modern remakes of Persona 2 and Persona 4. SEGA and ATLUS insider Midori, who has proven to be reputable and accurate over the past year, has stated on Twitter that both a Persona 4 remake and a Persona 2 remake exist at Atlus.
Just last week, Midori revealed that Atlus is working on The Answer DLC for the recently released Persona 3 Reload. This is part of the company’s efforts to expand game lifespans and revenue inflow. Reportedly, this DLC is due out sometime within Fiscal Year 2025 for SEGA/Atlus.
In response to two X users asking questions regarding information on either a potential Persona 4 or Persona 2 remake, Midori simply replied, “Both exist at Atlus.” You can view her response below:

Persona 2: Innocent Sin was a PlayStation 1 title released in 1999. It received a PlayStation Portable (PSP) port in 2011, but other than that, it has never seen a release on any modern system. Atlus focusing its efforts on remaking a title like this would be fantastic for Persona fans, as many have not had the chance to check out P2.
Persona 4 is a more interesting case. The game received an enhanced version, Persona 4 Golden, for the PlayStation Vita. The title later came to PC and eventually to all modern consoles. One could argue that remaking a game already available on modern systems is puzzling. The same can be said about Persona 3 Reload, however, since Persona 3 Portable is also available on the aforementioned platforms.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on this interesting development. In the meantime, check out our impressions of Persona 3 Reload.
