    Visions of Mana Launches in Summer 2024

    A new journey awaits this Summer.

    Today at the Xbox Developer Direct, Square Enix showed off a new trailer for Visions of Mana, the next title in the long-running Mana series. In this trailer, it was revealed that the game is scheduled to be released for Xbox Series X|S and PC sometime during the Summer of 2024. 

    Visions of Mana was first revealed at The Game Awards this past December. Square Enix filed for the trademark the day before The Game Awards 2023, December 7. Airi Yoshioka will return to the new title as Creature Designer, and series veterans Hiroki Kikuta, Tsuyoshi Sekito and Ryo Yamazaki return to compose the soundtrack. This is the first new game in the series in over 15 years.

    After the game’s reveal, Mana Series Producer Masaru Oyamada stated the following on the new title:

    “I am delighted to finally be able to reveal Visions of Mana, the first mainline instalment to Mana series in over fifteen years” said Mana Series Producer, Masaru Oyamada. “The development team have been working hard to ensure that Visions of Mana remains faithful to the series that players know and love while also offering fans and newcomers a fresh new experience with an all-new story, characters, and gameplay mechanics. We cannot wait to share more details about the game with you soon.”

    After the Developer Direct, Square Enix confirmed that the title will release for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in Summer 2024 as well. Additionally, the company revealed the “pikuls”, a new companion you can encounter throughout Visions of Mana. These are designed by Mana Series Creator Koichi Ishii.

    Visions of Mana will launch in Summer 2024 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam & the Microsoft Store.
