    Square Enix Files Trademark for Visions of Mana

    A new Mana game potentially on the way.

    Square Enix recently filed a new trademark for Visions of Mana in Europe, Australia, and Japan. As the trademark’s title suggests, this could be a new entry in Square Enix’s Mana RPG series. 

    The latest entry in the Mana series is Echoes of Mana, which first launched on April 28, 2022 for Android and iOS. Unfortunately, this mobile RPG only lasted for roughly a year, with Square Enix confirming its end of service date for May 15 this year. A new Mana game may be on the way, however.

    Visions of Mana Trademark

    A new trademark for Visions of Mana was first filed on November 30 in Japan and made public today, December 7. Square Enix also filed a trademark for the title in Europe and Australia alongside the new Pixelight trademark, which was also made public on December 7.

    Although trademarks do not definitively indicate that a new game is in development, reputable outlet Gematsu notes that they’ve heard a new Mana game is coming soon. If this new Mana game would be Visions of Mana.

    The most recent Mana release is Legend of Mana. The Seiken Densetsu III remake titled Trials of Mana is the latest game in the series that was developed from the ground up.
