Xbox Game Studios and Ninja Theory have announced that Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II will launch on May 20. The upcoming game will be available on the Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.
Hellblade is a game initially released in 2017 for the PlayStation 4 and PC. The game features a dark universe inspired by Norse mythology and a “hero” troubled by the voices in her head. The sequel to the game will finally release in May on the Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II Finally Releasing in
During the recent Xbox Developer Direct, Ninja Theory revealed more of the visuals and gameplay of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II. The developers go into detail on Senua’s psychosis and how that impacts the gameplay and audio, a returning feature from the first game. Additionally, they also detail how different its gameplay will be in comparison to its predecessor. Lastly, they confirm that Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II will launch on May 21. The game will be a digital-only release and retail for $49.99.

Lastly, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II will release on May 20. Pre-orders for the game will likely open up soon as the game draws closer to its launch in the early Summer. It is currently unknown if the game will release on other consoles such as the PlayStation 5. The game’s predecessor, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, is available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
