Nihon Falcom previously stated that an English release of The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki was on the way, and news about the localization may come very soon about this release. A recent statement by Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo implies that fans won’t have to wait much longer to hear about The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki in the west.
Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo states that news about a localization of The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki is coming “as soon as possible” according to a brief excerpt from Push Square’s new interview. An announcement cannot be made “quite yet” by Falcom, but this is another promising sign for the Calvard saga’s long awaited debut in the west. In fact, Kondo’s statement came just a few days away from the English release of The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie, which also teases the Calvard story.
In The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie, players will experience three story paths featuring protagonists Rean Schwarzer, Lloyd Bannings, and the mysterious C. These story paths intertwine with revelations that bring all parties together in a climatic chapter for the Trails saga. Moreover, players will explore the True Reverie Corridor and unlock several secrets and mini-games. This is the latest game in the Trails series localized by NIS America, and The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki takes place afterwards as the first chapter of the Calvard saga.
Lastly, The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie launches July 7 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki is currently available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam in Japan.
