NIS America shared a brand-new gameplay trailer for The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie showcasing the turn-based RPG’s new and returning mechanics. These returning mechanics including Orbments, Brave Orders, and devastating S-Crafts.
The new gameplay trailer for The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie highlights several returning features from The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Cold Steel IV. Once more, players will access to Orbal Arts, Crafts, S-Crafts, and Brave Orders. Stronger Orbal Arts may be used by equipping more powerful Quartz and Master Quartz. Moreover, players may use Team Attacks featuring their entire party of characters.
Further, The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie introduces a new feature based on the link system from the prior The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel games. When five or more characters are available in the party, players may expend the Assault Gauge to unleash United Fronts, including United Attacks, United Arts, or United Heals. Battle Points may be restored by utilizing United Fronts.
The story of The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie is told in three story paths. Rean Schwarzer, Lloyd Bannings, and C serve as the main protagonists of the game. Players must progress through all three story paths during a chapter to progress to the next one.
