At EVO Japan 2023, SNK announced The King of Fighters ’96 antagonist Goenitz is coming back for The King of Fighters XV via a free update. The King of Fighters XV Season 2 DLC character Kim Kaphwan will arrive before Goenitz, however.
SNK revealed free DLC character Goenitz is coming to The King of Fighters XV this summer in a free update. Additionally, SNK confirmed DLC character Kim Kaphwan launches on April 4, and Sylvie Paula Paula joins the roster later this summer. Najd will release sometime after Goenitz this summer, and two more DLC characters are planned for autumn and winter 2023 respectively.
At EVO Japan 2023, SNK also revealed The King of Fighters XIII Global Match for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. The King of Fighters XIII Global Match is a newly improved version of the original KOF XIII fighting game with rollback netcode and improved online features. Before its launch, an open beta test will be held for the PlayStation 4 version in early summer 2023. This open beta test allows players to test out the performance of the game’s rollback netcode before the full launch.
