Koei Tecmo and Gust updated its official website for Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key, revealing new details about the Season Pass DLC and upcoming free updates. Players can expect monthly DLC and update releases leading into summer 2023.
Launch Day
Various pieces of DLC will be released on March 24 alongside the launch of Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key. As previously reported, Season Pass owners gain the Gust Collaboration DLC on launch day. Additionally, Season Pass owners receive the Endless Summer Splash! costume set, which adds swimsuits for all 11 party members.
April and May DLC and Updates
Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key players can expect a major free update in April 2023 featuring new frames and motions for Photo Mode and the Weasel, Lamb, and Devil Roasts. Defeat these Roasts in special challenges to earn a variety rewards. Access to the Weasel, Lamb, and Devil Roasts is made available after sufficient progress in the main story.
Before the end of May 2023, the Far East Travelers Costume Set will release featuring costumes for Ryza, Klaudia, Lent, Tao, Patricia, Bos, Federica, Dian and Kala. Moreover, the Alchemy Mysteries and Art of Adventure Recipe Expansions DLC adds 25 new recipes and a plethora of new ingredients to be procured. Locations for these ingredients were not revealed, however.
Major June Update and DLC
By the end of June 2023, a free update will bring the new Legend difficulty to the Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key for those seeking the ultimate challenge. Further, the Atelier Series Legacy BGM Pack adds over 1,000 music tracks from Atelier Marie: The Alchemist of Salzburg up to Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout. In-game BGM may be changed by selecting “BGM” from the diary on the desk at the atelier.
Rosca Island will be introduced as a new open-field region to explore with Ryza and her friends this June in a new DLC pack. Players can also expect new World Quests that are unique to Rosca Island. Moreover, the Gust Extra BGM Pack adds more than 400 tracks from Gust-developed titles including Atelier Ryza 2 and Atelier Sophie 2.
Final DLC
Ryza’s journey ends with a new exploration area outside the royal capital of Ashra-am Baird from Atelier Ryza 2. This final piece of DLC will be free to all players in July 2023, ending the slate of free DLC and major updates. More details will be released at a later date on the official website, so stay tuned.
Lastly, Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key releases March 24 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
