    Falcom Reveals New Ys X: Nordics Artwork

    Another look into Obelia Bay.

    UPDATE: Nihon Falcom released a full version of the new Ys X: Nordics artwork and shared a few new details. The port town depicted in the artwork is known as Karnak. Ispani and Norman people frequent the town, promoting Karnak as a trade hub in Obelia Bay.

    Original – 3/7/2023 – Nihon Falcom revealed new artwork for upcoming action RPG Ys X: Nordics to celebrate the company’s 42nd anniversary. More official news about Ys X: Nordics appears to be on the way soon.

    The new artwork for Ys X: Nordics depicts Adol Christin and his companion Dogi entering a town located in the northern seas. Players may control a ship in Ys X: Nordics to navigate the treacherous waters, and the artwork partially depicts the ship in the town’s port. Further details about Ys X: Nordics were not revealed, but Falcom may share more information in the March 23 issue of Famitsu.

    Upcoming Falcom Releases

    Falcom is also preparing to release Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana on April 27 for Nintendo Switch in Japan. The new “refine” title features extensive voice acting for Adol by Yuki Kaji, brand-new artwork, high-speed mode, and much more. Traditional Chinese and Korean versions release on May 25, one month after the Japanese release. 

    NIS America, PH3 and The Geofront bring the Crossbell duology to a close when The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure launches March 14 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. The enhanced release includes high-speed mode, water rendering, and universal in-game settings across all versions.

    This summer, heroes from Crossbell, Erebonia, and Liberl will unite once more after the events of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV. The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie launches July 7 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.

    Lastly, Ys X: Nordics releases in 2023 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 in Japan.
