Koei Tecmo and Atelier series developer GUST announced the Atelier Ryza series surpassed 1.6 million copies sold worldwide. The major milestone was reached just a few days before the release of Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key.
Atelier Ryza Series Milestone
Combined sales of Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout and Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy surpassed 1.6 million copies as of March 16, 2023. The latest Atelier Ryza series sales figures include physical shipments and digital copies sold on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. To celebrate the milestone, Koei Tecmo and Gust tweeted a celebratory video featuring Ryza and her friends. Additionally, the developers hope fans look forward to the new Atelier title.

A special Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key broadcast will be held on March 19, a few days before the game’s launch. The broadcast features news about DLC alongside gameplay footage of Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key running on PlayStation 5. Atelier fans can expect a brand-new trailer during the program as well.
Upcoming Atelier Releases
Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key is the final game in the Secret series of Atelier titles. Ryza and her friends set out on one final journey to investigate mysterious islands and ruins near Kurken Island. Moreover, the upcoming RPG will feature vast open-field regions to explore, making the third Atelier Ryza title one of the largest in the entire franchise. A total of 11 party members are playable, and players may obtain special keys to use across exploration, battle, and synthesis.
Atelier fans may also look forward to a new remake of Atelier Marie from the original PlayStation. Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg launches on July 17, a few months after Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key.
Lastly, Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key releases March 24 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
