Green Day Will Have a Video Game Related Announcement at The Game Awards

Legendary punk rock band Green Day will have a special video game-related announcement at The Game Awards. This is according to the show’s producer and host, Geoff Keighley.

During a recent live Q&A, Keighley himself stated that the band has a “really awesome video game announcement they’ll be making.” However, he did not elaborate on anything further. And it is unknown if the game is completely new, or is a collaboration with other rhythm-based video games.

This wouldn’t be Green Day’s first foray into video games. The band collaborated with Harmonix to release “Green Day Rock Band” back in 2010. So it is very interesting to see what they have in store this time around.

The Game Awards 2019 will be this Thursday night, December 12th. Green Day will be there to perform as a musical guest. And they will perform along with synthpop group CHVCHES, and an Orchestral performance by composer Lorne Balfe.

P.S. Green Day is my all-time favorite band. So I’m excited!

Hi everyone! I'm the new guy here at Final Weapon. I am 23 years old and from Boston, MA. I play all the games, but my favorites would have to be JRPGs. Oh, and I'm also a huge fan of the Legend of Zelda.
