The Blood of Dawnwalker Reveals New Summer Game Fest Trailer

At Summer Game Fest 2026, Bandai Namco released a new trailer for The Blood of Dawnwalker ahead of its release on September 3, revealing new story details. The Blood of Dawnwalker will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Xbox on PC, Xbox Cloud, and Steam.

The trailer is available here:

In a press release, Game Director and Co-Founder of the studio Rebel Wolves (as well as Director on The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt) Konrad Tomaszkiewicz said:

“I have a feeling that today’s presentation may have surprised many of you who did not expect Coen’s saga to move into modern times. However, I would like to emphasize that each installment in the series will be a standalone game with its own story, without narrative cliffhangers, unresolved plot threads, or time travel ideas. Since forming Rebel Wolves, we have been very clear that we aim for The Blood of Dawnwalker to be a self-contained story, and now, as we approach the release of the first chapter, we wanted to shed a bit more light on our wider perspective and tease where the story ultimately leads.”

Jakub Szamałek, Narrative Director at Rebel Wolves, also commented:

“I love the potential that lies within Coen, as well as his powers and abilities as a Dawnwalker. His journey begins in a dark 14th-century fantasy world – a setting players deeply enjoy – and while it may feel familiar, the unique Carpathian Mountains setting will allow us to surprise them more than once. The next installments of his saga will bring new stories and new characters, but they will take place in different eras, locations, and cultures. Writing the narrative for projects of this scale is an incredibly satisfying undertaking. And while Coen and Brencis’ conflict will reach its conclusion in The Blood of Dawnwalker, attentive players will certainly come across breadcrumbs related to the overarching plot spanning the saga. I would love to share more, but for now, let’s wait for September 3 – the release of the game.”

Pre-orders for the standard edition ($69.99) and Eclipse edition ($79.99) are now available. Eclipse Edition contents include a Digital World Compendium, Digital Soundtrack, and Digital Comic Book. A Collector’s Edition will also be available, including the Eclipse Edition contents, a SteelBook, world map, a Coen figurine, and a physical World Compendium.

Lazy River Announced, Releases in Summer 2027 in Steam Early Access

Lazy River Announced, Releases in Summer 2027 in Steam Early Access

Developers Mike Boxleiter, Kevan DuPont, Jake Yetter, Joel Corelitz and Karlee Esmailli have announced a new game called Lazy River. The game will release in summer 2027 in Steam Early Access.

Check out the first trailer for Lazy River below:

The press release describes the game as follows:

Lazy River is a co-op first person shooter set at the galaxy’s most unregulated waterpark, Water Station One. The water park is connected by an infinite lazy river that runs the length of the park. You and your friends are at the park for a fun vacation, but some guy peed in the pool and the pee mixed with the space water and turned all the guests into zombies that want to kill you. You’ll need to build a raft and ride the Lazy River to the other end of the park to escape.

BUILD

Collect innertubes to start your first raft. Upgrade it with walls, sails, and engines to help you survive the zombie threat and blow past park security blockades. Your raft is fully physically simulated, so make sure you balance it out and don’t build it too heavy!

SHOOT

Lucky for you, once the zombification process is complete zombies explode when they get too wet, the park security squads are all robots, and there are squirt guns and water balloons littering the park. Grab a squirt gun and upgrade into a powerful sniper rifle or a rapid fire machine gun and start clearing a path! If you run out of water you can always rely on a pool noodle to knock some sense into them.

SURVIVE

No trip to a waterpark is complete without snacks, but you’re gonna need to man the fryer. Scavenge for the raw materials to produce a wide variety of health food such as tater tots, corn dogs, burgers and onion rings.

ESCAPE

You’ll need to choose your path along the river carefully. The robot security forces will set up blockades and strong defenses. Get too close, and they’ll shoot out your innertubes and damage your raft. And make sure not to set off the park alarm system! Setting off the alarm starts the park’s self-clean cycle which will obliterate all organic life in the area.

Paperfrog, a small studio comprised of developers Case Jernigan and Todd Anderson, has announced a new game titled Bub. It will release in 2027 for PC via Steam

The first trailer for Bub is available to watch on the game’s Steam page, as well as via the full Day of the Devs stream:

The Steam page describes it as follows:

Bub is the story of an artist in New York City. He paints, sculpts and makes worlds for people to explore. But he’s losing his gift, you see. He’s sick. Bub is the story of an artist turning his memories into art while he still can. Bub’s journey through his past is mirrored by changes in artistic style and mood, from ink drawings to rough cut paper puppets to abstracted slashes of paint. Thousands of cut paper pieces, painted frames and collages form the uniquely textured and layered stop-motion world of ‘Bub.’ The result is something personal and unique, analog artworks that create a living, breathing game world.

Bub’s the artistic project of Case and Todd, two friends in Brooklyn. Over the years and through life’s complexities, the game has became a record of personal experience, a kind of memory palace if you will. Expect artistic style, mood and sonic feeling to fluidly change as the story unfolds through the stream of conscious musings of Bub, voiced by Whitmer Thomas, fresh off his supporting role in the critically acclaimed film ‘Weapons.’
