Wired Productions has announced Mr. Records, a new rhythm-based platformer that will release in Q1 2027. The announcement comes courtesy of Day of the Devs: Summer Game Fest 2026 Edition.

The press release describes the game as follows:
Meet George, an old dreamer with an extraordinary gift that lets him transcend through music. After a lifetime of standing still, he breaks free from routine and opens the store he always wished for. MR. RECORDS is an uplifting adventure where every vinyl transports you into a world of memories and emotion, where you will jump, slide, and move though psychedelic landscapes in time with the music.
Alongside his loyal dog Buzz, George manages the record store, with every day providing new vinyls to unlock and sell, trying to deliver the perfect music to match the tastes of his colourful customers and becoming part of their stories. When the shutters come down and the store closes for the night, the records come alive. Each track transforming into a playable rhythmic trip through George’s imagination. Some songs will make you smile. Others will hit far deeper the moment the needle drops, reminding you that it’s never too late to finally start living.
The announcement comes courtesy of Day of the Devs. Day of the Devs is a non-profit organization focused on highlighting a variety of different titles within the industry. Late last year, Day of the Devs held a showcase alongside The Game Awards 2025, which revealed new looks at titles such as Demon Tides, The Dungeon Experience, and Virtue and a Sledgehammer. This year, it showed off games such as Mr. Records, 33 Immortals, Screenbound, Trine 6: Together in Time, Slap Out of It, and countless more.
