During Summer Game Fest 2026, SEGA shared some announcements for Sonic’s 35th anniversary, including a new look at the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Avatar Packs for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. The latest trailer also shared a first look at the DLC for Year Two of Sonic Racing: Crossworlds. Year Two will have a total of six new DLC packs, with Godzilla and Evangelion among them.
Based on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pack will launch in July 2026 with all four iconic Turtles—Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo. The crew will be available with with new vehicles, courses, and new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-inspired music tracks.
The Avatar Pack for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds arrives in October 2026 with fan-favorite characters Aang and Katara, new vehicles, courses and Avatar-inspired music tracks, emotes, and more. Year Two follows up at a later date with the aforementioned Godzilla and Evangelion Packs, and more details will be revealed later this year.
SONIC PICO PARK was also announced, a new Sonic-licensed game inspired by TECOPARK’s PICO PARK. SONIC PICO PARK features its signature puzzle-driven co-op action gameplay with the iconic main cast of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Players can expect iconic Sonic characters, levels, and moments, with more details to be revealed soon.
