Serious Sam: Shatterverse Revealed for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S

Serious Sam Shatterverse

Devolver Digital and Behaviour Interactive have announced Serious Sam: Shatterverse, the next entry in the prolific first-person shooter series. Serious Sam: Shatterverse is coming soon to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam

Here’s an overview of the game, via Steam:

Serious Sam Stone is back, but this time he’s not alone. Uber Mental’s maniacal machinations have fractured the walls between universes, and now Sam’s from multiple dimensions must learn to work together to repair the Shatterverse.

As part of the Serious Program, a multidimensional force opposing Uber Mental, you’ll travel across shifting universes to finish battles other Sams couldn’t. Mental has been hunting the hero across realities, and in many timelines, he’s already won. Now, it’s your turn to push back. To advance, you must bring down his five lieutenants, each a formidable boss in search of total annihilation.

Wield a relentlessly destructive arsenal of devastating weapons, unlock powerful boons, and experiment with run modifiers that reshape gameplay. In true roguelite fashion, death is never the end, and each run opens the door to new strategies and limitless possibilities across the Shatterverse.

Multiverse Mayhem

Reality cracked and now Serious Sams from multiple universes are fighting the same war. Team up across shifting worlds, collide with alternate versions of the legend, and bring guns-blazing chaos to timelines that were never supposed to meet.

Big Guns, Serious Damage

Pack the classics, then crank it into the weird. Wield a mix of iconic Serious Sam staples and brand-new toys, built for one purpose – clearing arenas when Mental’s hordes decide hundreds is a warm-up. Explosive, loud, and extremely violent.

Escalating Destruction

A world full of unstable anomalies, hidden portals, and high-risk opportunities that can supercharge a run, or end it instantly. Push forward greater rewards, unlock powerful modifiers, and upgrades that permanently expand your possibilities.

Mental’s Horde, Remixed

Familiar foes are back, and they brought friends. Face a selection of classic Serious Sam enemies alongside fresh monsters, all under Mental’s control, all engineered to overwhelm you, and all begging to be turned into mush.

Arcade-Style FPS Energy

High-adrenaline, run-and-gun arena chaos, big battlefields, nonstop pressure, and perfectly-timed one-liners when everything’s on fire. Shatterverse leans into the Serious Sam legacy and pushes it forward with procedurally shifting runs across hand-crafted arenas set in previously unexplored worlds.

Final Weapon reviewed Hades II and gave it a 4.5 out of 5 score, describing it as “a benchmark for the genre. The story, characters, writing, and art direction exceed the expectations set by the original Hades. Further, the new gameplay mechanics and the addition of a second area make for a game that can keep you occupied for dozens of hours without ever getting boring. While the ending is extremely disappointing, I can confidently recommend Hades II to everyone, regardless of whether you’ve played other entries in the genre or not.”

Stalker 2: Cost of Hope Expansion Releases in Summer 2026

Stalker 2: Cost of Hope Expansion Releases in Summer 2026

During the Xbox Partner Preview, GSC Game World has announced a new expansion for Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, titled Stalker 2: Cost of Hope. It will release in summer 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.

Mykyta Horodyvskyi, Brand Manager of GSC Game World, states the following about the upcoming expansion in an Xbox Wire post:

“S.T.A.L.K.E.R. at its core is about humans and their perceptions, so we’re heading into a new chapter of a conflict long familiar to fans. The factions of Duty and Freedom – enemies in the past – are now tied together by the D4 Treaty, a pact signed by every group in the Zone before the events of Heart of Chornobyl.

Duty are the ones who see the Zone as a danger to humanity. Their goal is simple: destroy that danger and protect humankind from the unknown. Freedom see things differently. For them, the Zone is a gift – something humanity should explore and learn to use for the greater good. For a time, this difference in views was held together by a fragile peace treaty. But agreements like that rarely keep conflicts of this scale in balance for long. Or do they?”

The expansion will take dozens of hours to complete, and feature a new protagonist named Skif. The events of the expansion take place parallel to the main story. After installing it, you’ll get a prompt at some point in the story which lets you start the expansion. This expansion features two new regions, Iron Forest and the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant. Check out the trailer for Stalker 2: Cost of Hope below:

Lastly, Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Dispatch Releases for Xbox Series X|S in Summer 2026

During the ongoing Xbox Partner Preview, AdHoc Studio announced that Dispatch will release on Xbox Series X|S in summer 2026. The game is also available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Check out the trailer showcasing the Xbox Series X|S version of Dispatch below:

Final Weapon reviewed Dispatch, giving it a 4.5/5. We described it as a title which “takes the foundation built by Telltale Games and runs with it, creating one of the best games in the genre and one of the best titles released this year. The incredible cast of characters, brought to life by great writing, a beautiful art style, and a fantastic team of voice actors, is so charming and lovable.

Even if the gameplay is kind of lacking, the dispatching mini-games and emphasis on player and dialogue choice are so much fun to engage with. In a time when the superhero genre is more oversaturated than ever, Dispatch manages to go above and beyond, delivering an unforgettable experience.”

Lastly, the Steam page describes the game as follows:

You play as Robert Robertson, AKA Mecha Man, whose mech-suit is destroyed in a battle against his nemesis, forcing him to take a job at a superhero dispatch center: not as a hero, but a dispatcher. In charge of rehabilitating a group of ex-supervillains, you must manage your roster while navigating office relationships and rebuilding your suit for a shot at revenge.

In Dispatch, every decision you make influences the unfolding narrative. From banter in the breakroom to life-or-death situations in the field, your choices affect your relationships with the heroes, their allegiances, and the path your own story takes.

Lastly, here’s an overview of the game from the Steam page:

Super Meat Boy 3D is a tough as nails platformer where you play as an animated cube of meat who’s trying to save his girlfriend (who happens to be made of bandages) from an evil fetus in a jar wearing a tux – IN 3D!

Our meaty hero will leap from walls, over seas of buzz saws, through crumbling caves and pools of old trash sacrificing his own well-being to save his damsel in distress – IN 3D!

Super Meat Boy 3D brings the old school difficulty of classic retro titles we all know and love and streamlines them down to the essential no bull straight forward twitch reflex platforming. Ramping up in difficulty from hard to soul crushing Meat Boy will brave lush (but also on fire) forests, vast dumps filled with the waste of mankind, and high-tech forges producing the very traps that will inevitably kill Meat Boy over and over and over – IN 3D!

And if a bunch of levels weren’t enough, we also have epic boss fights and tons of unlockable secrets – IN 3D!

Features
    • Tough-as-nails precision platforming action
    • Brutal, but fair levels designed to break you.
    • Boss. Fights.
    • Dark World levels so tough, you’ll scream in the rain at a bus stop.
    • A soundtrack that was once described by a Guitar Center employee as “hey, either buy the guitars or get out. We’re seriously going to call the cops!”
    • 3D!
