RUSHING BEAT X: Return of Brawl Brothers Update Introduces New VS Mode

City Connection and Clear River Games have released a new update for side-scrolling beat ’em up action game RUSHING BEAT X: Return of Brawl Brothers featuring the all-new VS Mode. VS Mode lets players compete with one another via local PvP with six stages and a lineup of all playable characters in RUSHING BEAT X: Return of Brawl Brothers

Here’s a breakdown of each stage:

    • Boss Rush Ring: When the only damage dealt is from the other player, Boss Rush Ring strips back to zero environmental damage. A good, honest brawl for those who like to fight fair!
    • Back Alley: Offering combat in close quarters, Back Alley is full of vehicles and burn barrels to keep the action tight and players on their toes. Hazards aplenty for an explosive fight!
    • Subway Tunnel: Mind the gap, the train will not be stopping and you don’t want to be on it. But with electrical hazards lining Subway Tunnel, players will need to watch their step as they dodge the approaching train and their opponent.
    • High Security Jail: Extremely dangerous criminals, what could go wrong? High Security Jail offers high stakes beat ‘em up action with eruptive potential. Be careful not to trigger the turrets during the fight, you might get caught in the crossfire!
    • Sewers: Brawlers aren’t the only danger in Sewers – it’s drenched in the Zeekus virus! Perforated metal floors allow jets of Zeekus to burst through so focus on the fight but don’t get sprayed.
    • Boss Rush Ring (Hazardous): The Boss Rush Ring players will recognize, only this time it’s with electrified ropes. Stay inside the ring and all will be fine, until your opponent has other ideas that is.

RUSHING BEAT X: Return of Brawl Brothers launched on March 19, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
