Nintendo and Square Enix have announced that Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will be on sale for 40% off until March 30. Specifically, it is available for $23.99.
The occasion for the sale is unknown, however, it is the lowest price yet for the beloved game. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade released on January 22, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2. Final Weapon reviewed the port, giving it a 4.5/5. We described it as “an absolute joy to play on Nintendo Switch 2. This fantastic RPG is filled with memorable characters, an amazing narrative, and an engaging combat system that’s almost impossible to put down. The game runs great and looks excellent, with performance consistent at 30 FPS. While some visuals can appear grainy due to heavy DLSS usage, it’s a small trade-off for having this wonderful game on the go.”
Hamaguchi previously stated that development of Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 for Nintendo Switch 2 will not affect or lower the game’s overall quality on all platforms. Square Enix plans to optimize the game down from PC to Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. However, it’s unclear what the exact release schedule will look like, with conflicting rumors swirling about a multi-platform release or a timed exclusive release on PlayStation 5.
Following its release on PlayStation 5 and PC, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S on June 3, 2026. The release follows just five months after Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade was released on Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S. Like Remake Intergrade, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will get the new Streamlined Progression feature, which will be available in a later update for the PlayStation 5 and PC versions.
