Netmarble has announced that it has delayed The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin to March 2026. Additionally, the developers have outlined some changes that it will make to the game following the most recent closed beta test.
A recent Developer Notes outlines that, during the closed beta test, many found issues with the controls, UI/UX, and combat system. When the game launches in March 2026, it will feature massive improvements to the combat system, such as refinements to the burst and dodge systems. It will also add improvements to exploration convenience, with added options for key mapping, better movement and adventure guidance, and reduced gameplay fatigue.
Initially, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin would’ve launched on January 28, 2026. It will now release in March 2026 for Android, iOS, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Final Weapon had the opportunity to interview The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin executive producer Do-Hyung Koo to discuss the game’s development, the team’s initial goals, consultation with manga creator Nakaba Suzuki and more.
