Published:

Bandai Namco has released the launch trailer for the CODE VEIN II Mask of Idris DLC alongside patch notes for the version 2.01 update, which will release alongside the DLC on September 9. The CODE VEIN II Mask of Idris DLC is available for purchase separately and is included with the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions of the game.

As previously announced, the new update introduces Trials of Remembrance, a new “Battle Rush Mode” that lets CODE VEIN II players challenge bosses they’ve defeated in the main game and earn new rewards, including character customization parts. The version 2.01 update will also include new post-game content in new episodes of “The Age of Harmony,” a new story-focused mode, Jadwiga as a new summonable partner, and much more.

Expansion DLC Mask of Idris

This content is unlocked by purchasing the Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition, or Deluxe Content Set.

The expansion takes place in a world different from the main game, allowing you to enjoy further exploration and storylines alongside a new partner character.

DLC Play Requirements

To play the Mask of Idris expansion DLC, you must meet the following requirements.

  • Reach the ending, Luna Fraterna.
  • Progress through Requests from a Friend: Valentin to a certain point.

Story Completion Bonus

Once you complete the story of the Mask of Idris expansion DLC, alternate-colored version of all 14 Partner Characters—including the new character—will be unlocked.
The alternate-colored version you’ve unlocked will carry over to subsequent playthroughs, allowing you to enjoy the story and exploration alongside your favorite partner.

※If the story requires you to travel with a specific partner character, your choice of alternate color will be limited.
Please note that during cutscenes, the standard partner character will appear instead of the alternate-colored version.
