A recent listing for the newest issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine confirms that the MF Ghost manga will be ending in six issues. This coincides with the recent announcement that the manga will enter its climax on January 10. The manga entered its “final battle” in June 2023. The creators of the series will likely confirm more details about the manga’s end in the coming weeks and months.
Serving as the sequel to Initial D, the MF Ghost manga by series creator Shuichi Shigeno entered serialization in September 2017 for Weekly Young Magazine. The series stars Kanata Livington, a Japanese-British 19-year-old trained by Initial D protagonist and legendary racer Takumi Fujiwara. Kanata aims to find his long-lost father, and the talented rookie must get behind the wheel like those before him. The anime adaptation is available on Crunchyroll. Season 3 is in development.
