Ys: Memories of Celceta is Coming to Switch

Currently out now on PS4, PS Vita, and PC.

During Nihon Falcom’s annual shareholders meeting, the company announced that Ys: Memories of Celceta is coming to Nintendo Switch in spring 2025 in Japan, as reported by @Hansuke21. A western release for the Nintendo Switch version was not announced, however.

Falcom also announced that Ys X: Nordics is getting an enhanced re-release with new content, titled Ys X: Proud Nordics. Moreover, Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter is confirmed to release in 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Switch.

Currently, Ys: Memories of Celceta is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC via Steam and GOG. Here’s an overview of the game, via Marvelous

In celebration of the Ys series’ 25th anniversary, Falcom revisits the land and characters of Japanese cult favorite Ys IV, which was outsourced to multiple third-party developers twenty years ago and never officially released in English. But rather than simply remaking their only outsourced title among the main-line Ys games, Falcom has taken a brand new approach, changing and framing the story of Ys IV within an all-new tale of conspiracy, deception and mystery. Featuring an updated version of the party system from Ys Seven, as well as the largest and most varied overworld in Falcom history, Ys: Memories of Celceta brings a greater sense of adventure to the series than has ever been seen before.
