Capcom has released an official lore video for Monster Hunter. The video provides an overview of the series’ story so far. Daisy Ridley, known for her role as Rey in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, narrates the video. Check out the new lore video for the Monster Hunter franchise below:
The next entry in the Monster Hunter franchise, Monster Hunter Wilds, will release on February 28. Pre-orders for Monster Hunter Wilds are available now. Those who pre-order will get access to the Guild Knight armor set. Those who pre-order on the PlayStation Store will get an exclusive artbook. There’s also a deluxe edition and premium deluxe edition.
Capcom initially revealed Monster Hunter Wilds at The Game Awards 2023, with brief gameplay footage and a 2025 release date. The game can be wishlisted on storefronts now. This will be the first major Monster Hunter title since Monster Hunter Rise. Recently, Capcom released an overview trailer of the game’s basic mechanics, as well as a look at the heavy bowgun, insect glaive, gunlance, hunting horn, long sword, charge blade, hammer, light bowgun, sword & shield, switch axe, bow, lance, and dual blade weapons.
