Capcom has released the sixth entry in the Monster Hunter Wilds overview series, this time showcasing the long sword weapon. Wilds is set to release in 2025 on all consoles.
Capcom initially revealed Monster Hunter Wilds at The Game Awards 2023, with brief gameplay footage and a 2025 release date. The game can be wishlisted on storefronts now. This will be the first major Monster Hunter title since Monster Hunter Rise, which was released for Nintendo Switch in 2021. The game eventually came to PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. Recently, they released an overview trailer of the game’s basic mechanics, as well as a look at the heavy bowgun, insect glaive, gunlance, and hunting horn weapons.
