Capcom has released another weapon overview for Monster Hunter Wilds, this time showcasing the gunlance. The game will release in 2025.
Capcom initially revealed Monster Hunter Wilds at The Game Awards 2023, with brief gameplay footage and a 2025 release date. The game can be wishlisted on storefronts now. This will be the first major Monster Hunter title since Monster Hunter Rise, which was released for Nintendo Switch in 2021. The game eventually came to PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. Recently, they released an overview trailer of the game’s basic mechanics, as well as a look at both the heavy bowgun and insect glaive weapon. Check out our preview of the game here.
Monster Hunter Wilds Reveals Another New Weapon in Overview Series
Capcom has released a new overview trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds which showcases the gunlance. The weapon allows hunters to switch between a longsword and a devastating railgun-esque projectile launcher. The trailer description describes it as “unrelenting explosions combined with a staunch shield create a combo that’s a blast for hunters!” Check out the new trailer below:
