Capcom has released a new weapon overview trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds, showcasing the sword & shield. The upcoming game will release in 2025 and be playable at both PAX West and TwitchCon.
Capcom initially revealed Monster Hunter Wilds at The Game Awards 2023, with brief gameplay footage and a 2025 release date. The game can be wishlisted on storefronts now. This will be the first major Monster Hunter title since Monster Hunter Rise. Recently, Capcom released an overview trailer of the game’s basic mechanics, as well as a look at the heavy bowgun, insect glaive, gunlance, hunting horn, long sword, charge blade, hammer, and light bowgun weapons.

The latest entry focuses on the sword & shield, described as follows: Wield the strengths of both Cut and Blunt damage with the Sword & Shield!
