    Monster Hunter Wilds Highlights Charge Blade in New Trailer

    Capcom has released another weapon overview trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds, this time focused on the charge blade. The trailer shows the many applications of the classic weapon.

    Capcom initially revealed Monster Hunter Wilds at The Game Awards 2023, with brief gameplay footage and a 2025 release date. The game can be wishlisted on storefronts now. This will be the first major Monster Hunter title since Monster Hunter Rise, which was released for Nintendo Switch in 2021. The game eventually came to PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. Recently, they released an overview trailer of the game’s basic mechanics, as well as a look at the heavy bowgun, insect glaive, gunlance, hunting horn, and long sword weapons.     Capcom has released another weapon overview trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds. This particular trailer focuses on the charge blade, which is described as follows: “One weapon, many ways to wield it. Use the swiftness of Sword Mode to charge up your Phials, then channel them into your Sword, Shield or Axe for flashy results. With Focus Mode, spin up something that will saw right through their weak points.” Check out the trailer below:

    A previous trailer showed off more details for the game’s story, gameplay, and monsters. The game will release on all consoles in 2025. The PlayStation Store describes Monster Hunter Wilds on its store page:
