Marvel and Epic Games have confirmed that the next chapter of Fortnite is titled Absolute Doom. The chapter will feature Doctor Doom, Emma Frost, Mysterio, War Machine, and more.
Over the years, Fortnite has collaborated with several massive media properties. Examples include My Hero Academia, Jujutsu Kaisen, Dragon Ball, Attack on Titan, Naruto, Star Wars, Marvel, and more. The latest chapter introduces characters from Metal Gear Solid and Family Guy. Recently, Epic Games announced a collaboration with Disney after the latter bought a major stake in the former. Both will reveal more in the coming months.
Fortnite Releases Absolute Doom Chapter, Focused on Doctor Doom
Marvel and Epic Games have released a trailer for Fortnite‘s next chapter for season 4. The chapter, titled Absolute Doom, focuses on Doctor Doom. It includes Gwenpool, War Machine, “Peelverine,” Emma Frost, “Captain Jonesy,” Mysterio, and Shuri as the Black Panther. The battle pass will be available on August 16 for 950 V-bucks. Additionally, Doctor Doom will be added in September through battle pass quests.

The new chapter is likely meant to prepare players for the next entry in the Avengers film series, Doomsday, which will include Robert Downey Jr. as the iconic villain Doctor Doom. Announced during San Diego Comic-Con 2024, the upcoming film will release in 2026. To further celebrate the film, it is likely that Doctor Doom will show up in more upcoming Marvel games and extended media.
The Absolute Doom chapter of Fortnite will be available on August 16 for 950 V-bucks on all consoles.
