Fortnite has officially added Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid to the game’s battle pass. The character is available now alongside a special Old Snake (Metal Gear Solid 4) cosmetic.
Over the years, Fortnite has collaborated with several massive media properties. Examples include My Hero Academia, Jujutsu Kaisen, Dragon Ball, Attack on Titan, Naruto, Star Wars, Marvel, and more. The latest chapter introduces characters from Metal Gear Solid, Family Guy, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from the franchise of the same name.
Solid Snake Now Available in Fortnite Battle Royale Battle Pass
The official Fortnite website has revealed that Solid Snake has now been added to the game’s battle pass. Alongside his release, two new items have been added to the game: the EMP stealth camo and cardboard boxes. Both allow players to become Solid Snake and become sneakier than ever in Fortnite‘s battle royale mode.
Players can unlock Solid Snake by purchasing the 950 V-Buck battle pass and by doing the following:
- Hide in a Cardboard Box for 10 seconds.
- Deal 250 damage to opponents within 10 meters.
- Deal 50 damage to opponents with explosives.
- Deal 500 damage to opponents with assault rifles.
- Break 2 security cameras or turrets.
Once you complete these tasks, a new set of challenges are opened. Upon completion of these challenges, players can unlock the Old Snake cosmetic. To unlock the Metal Gear Solid 4 variant of the beloved character, players must do the following:
- Deal 2500 damage to opponents with a weapon that has a suppressor.
- Use EMP Stealth Camo 3 times.
- Use a hiding spot in 5 different matches.
- Assist in opening 3 Vaults or hack 3 Train Heist Chests.
- Damage 10 different enemy players before they damage you.
Lastly, the quests required to unlock Solid Snake and Old Snake are available in Fortnite until March 8, 2024. Additionally, Fortnite itself is available now for all consoles.
