BeXide Inc. has announced that Yohane the Parhelion: NUMAZU in the MIRAGE will have a collaboration with Doko Demo Issyo. The collaboration will be available exclusively on the PlayStation 5 at no additional cost.
BeXide Inc. is known for several other deck-builders, including the previously released Super Bullet Break. Yohane will support English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese languages. BeXide will reveal more details about the upcoming release in the coming weeks leading up to its launch on February 22.
Yohane the Parhelion: NUMAZU in the MIRAGE Collaborating with Doko Demo Issyo
BeXide Inc. has announced that Yohane the Parhelion: NUMAZU in the MIRAGE will feature cosmetics themed around Doko Demo Issyo. BeXide created the Doko Demo Issyo franchise for the original PlayStation. It includes Toro Inoue, an adorable cat who was, for a time, PlayStation’s first-ever mascot. The character made a brief appearance in PlayStation’s Smash-like, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.
The collaboration includes a hat designed to look like Toru. The hat includes an attached starter card “Ocarina Tones,” alongside a starter charm: “Shishinoshin Badge.” The cosmetic is available for free exclusively on the PlayStation 5. It will be available until May 21.
The official Steam page describes the story of Yohane the Parhelion: NUMAZU in the MIRAGE as follows:
While working as a fortune teller in Numazu, Yohane spends her days with her friends.
By chance, she comes into possession of an old mirror. Worried that her fortune-telling is not accurate, Yohane decides to play “Magic Mirror Fortune-Telling” using the mirror.
Suddenly, she is sucked into the mirror, which begins to glow. What she finds in the mirror is the “Ura-Numazu,” which is the exact reverse of the real Numazu! Moreover, it was a mysterious world where magic could be used with the power of cards.
At the same time, strange things happen to the friends in the real world one after another. In order to save them, she must go through the “Ura-Numazu”! What awaits her? A world of mirrors that changes its appearance every time she enters. After countless choices, what is the future that Yohane will choose? A new story begins in the other Numazu!
Lastly, Yohane the Parhelion: NUMAZU in the MIRAGE will release on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC on February 22, 2024.
