ININ Games has opened new survey for Shenmue III, asking fans if they want to see the game release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Mac. The survey also asks about graphics and performance improvements they would want to see in a new release of Shenmue III.
Along with those two questions, ININ Games asked fans about their favorite moment in the Shenmue series. You can take the survey now and submit your three responses via Google Forms.
Previously, ININ Games said the story of Shenmue is “far from over” in a press release. The publisher notes that upcoming announcements will unveil their vision for “the next phase of Shenmue’s legacy.” There’s no confirmation of Shenmue IV, but ININ Games’ comments imply that Shenmue III could come to additional platforms, like Switch.
“We at ININ Games are honored to carry the Shenmue torch forward during such a significant moment in the series’ history,” the press release reads. “As we reflect on two decades of innovation and passion, we remain dedicated to preserving and sharing the journey of Ryo Hazuki with both long-time fans and newcomers.”
ININ Games continued, “With this transfer, the story of Shenmue is far from over. We have exciting plans to celebrate these anniversaries, ensuring that this beloved series continues to thrive and inspire. Keep an eye out for upcoming announcements as we unveil our vision for the next phase of Shenmue’s legacy.”
