Bandai Namco opened a post-launch survey for Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO. This survey is created so that the developers can better understand the player feedback. Players who experienced Sparking ZERO and have some thoughts can submit them in the following survey languages:
Additionally, Sparking ZERO is hosting its first official tournament series, The Dramatic Showdown. This series will begin with a string of online national tournaments in November and December 2024 to select the top players from nine regions, including both coasts of the United States, Mexico, Japan, France, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Spain.
In addition to these nine qualifiers, seven more players will earn their spot at the DRAGON BALL Games Battle Hour in Los Angeles on January 18, 2025. The top 16 players will then face off in the Grand Finals on January 19, where only one will emerge as the ultimate champion.

Moreover, Bandai Namco recently stated that they will take “appropriate security measures” against players who used mods in the custom battle mode. Users who have any custom battles containing mods should delete them immediately in order to avoid a ban. Additionally, Bandai Namco recently released a patch that adjusts classic controls and Yajirobe’s stats.
Fans may also look forward to new DLC characters Glorio and Vegeta (Mini) from Dragon Ball Daima. Glorio and Vegeta (Mini) will be available alongside others from Dragon Ball Daima in Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO DLC 2, launching in Q1 2025. Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO DLC 2 will also release in Q1 2025, focusing on playable characters from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. DLC 3 releases in Q2 2025 with more playable characters from Dragon Ball Daima. All three DLCs are available separately or with the Season Pass.
