Crunchyroll has released a new anime short for My Hero Academia, titled “I am a Hero too.” It focuses on Eri as a high schooler.
The synopsis of the short is as follows: “Eri is now a high school student with a dream of becoming a musician. Next week will be her first street performance, but when she turns to Deku, now a teacher at U.A., about it…” The story is based on the one-shot manga from the My Hero Academia: Ultra Age fan book. The length is 6 minutes, the screenplay is by Yosuke Kuroda, the storyboard is by Naomi Nakayama, the director is Tomo Okubo, and Yoshihiko Umakoshi and Hitomi Odashima are both the animation directors.
While My Hero Academia has ended, the series’ legacy will continue with the “My Hero Academia Anime 10th Anniversary Exhibition ‘OUR HERO’” event. It will take place in Tokyo and Osaka in 2027. My Hero Academia Anime 10th Anniversary Exhibition OUR HERO will include visuals, original drawings, 3D displays, videos, photo spots, and exclusive new merchandise for eventgoers in Japan. Further, the My Hero Academia in Concert U.S. tour will run from September 12 to October 25. The tour will feature music from My Hero Academia series composer Yūki Hayashi, along with scenes from the anime. Fans can watch My Hero Academia Vigilantes Season 2 on Crunchyroll with English dubs and subs, just like My Hero Academia Final Season. A total of 26 episodes are available for My Hero Academia Vigilantes thus far, across two seasons.
